She is the author of numerous romance books, including First Born, The Lucky Ones, True Colors, Shades of Red, The Wild Rose, Rightfully Mine, and others. Mortman’s first book, Circles was published in 1984, stayed on The New York Times Bestseller List for three months and she has since made the NYT Bestseller List six more times. Her books have been translated into 14 languages.
