Chadwick Aaron Boseman was born in Anderson, South Carolina. He is an American actor, screenwriter, and playwright. He is best known for portraying Jackie Robinson in 42 and James Brown in Get On Up. He will star as the superhero Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War and his own film as the titular character, which will be released on July 6, 2018. He graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He also graduated from the British American Dramatic Academy in Oxford, Oxfordshire. He has also had television roles in Lincoln Heights as Nathaniel "Nate" Ray and as Sergeant McNair in the NBC television series Persons Unknown. He also starred as Lt. Samuel Drake in the action thriller The Kill Hole.
