Bill Shuster was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He is the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 9th congressional district, serving since 2001. He is a member of the Republican Party. He is a son of former Congressman Bud Shuster. He graduated from Dickinson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and in History. He then earned a Master of Business Administration from American University.
