He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Professional Actors Training Program at the University of Washington in 2000. His role in several films include: Spider-Man 2, Lords of Dogtown, Mini's First Time, The Informant!, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, The Big Year, Ted, Blended, Adult Beginners, A Futile and Stupid Gesture (upcoming film), and Assassination Nation (upcoming film). His role in television include: The Soup (TV show, host), Community (TV series), 26th Independent Spirit Awards (host), 2015 ESPY Awards (host), and The Great Indoors (TV series). He married to Sarah Williams in 1996. They have two sons.
