He is an American producer and UK television personality, known for his appearance on the 2006 series of the British reality television show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! his three additional prime time UK television series, producing the highest rated musical television special in history. In April 2007, his autobiography, titled Simply The Gest, was released. The book is a mixture of memoirs, and Gest's personal views on life. He appeared on a "repeat" of Celebrity Fantasy Homes on the 14 June 2014 on the British Really channel.
